BELLA THE SWAN
Bella the Swan captures the heart and soul of professional ballet dancing and one of the greatest classical ballets of all time. Its romance and beauty allowed the classic ballet to mesmerize audiences for more than 100 years. Bella the Swan wants nothing more than to become a professional stage ballerina. And why not? She has so much going for her: an ultra-long neck, a feather-light jump and an irrepressible desire to dance en pointe, every…single…show!
“Honoring the two ballerinas of my life, my beautiful mother and five-year-old daughter, who inherited the passion for classical ballet dancing. I was always mesmerized by the emotions portrayed, complex movements and connection to music, all at once! Certainly, physical coordination never ran through my veins, reason why I got to experience its pleasure only as a spectator. Excited about reliving this childhood emotion through my daughter.”
Handmade with much love and attention to detail, Bella the Swan’s facial features are completely hand embroidered. Her dark brown hair is made of yarn that has been hand braided and stitched into place. She wears a hand tailored dress, consisting of a white sequined top and a white tulle skirt sewn to the doll’s body, therefore not removable. She comes along wearing sewn undies and even has a hand embroidered belly button!
