Our collections are meant to be for all seasons!  Our aim is to offer you exclusive designs rich in details wearable year-long.  The designing of each collection is very dear and involves months of perfecting to bring you the best we can offer.   Currently we are launching of one collection per year, however we are eagerly working to bringing you more of our beautiful designs with more frequency.

Each one of our products; dolls, clothing pieces or accessories are lovingly designed and created by hand in our private workshop in San Salvador, El Salvador by our proud team of Salvadoran artisans.

Materials engaged in the dolls making include: cotton cloth fabric for the doll’s bodies and 100% combed cotton and polyester fibers for stuffing.  Facial features are embroidered by hand with cotton embroidery floss. Hair is made from yarn hand stitched into place.  Each doll’s garments are unique, ranging from dresses in printed cottons to couture-like creations finished with vintage dressmaking ornaments.

All our dolls come beautifully packaged in individual signature keepsake boxes.   For the Me & My Manolita Collection, you can personalize your doll’s name in a sweet arm tag that is placed in every doll’s left arm.   All of our dolls include the following:  name tag, care instructions tag, social responsibility tag and certificate of authenticity.

Doll Collections:  Me & My Manolita, Laces and Bows, Around The World, Once Upon a Time and Diamond, all dolls include clothing that is removable and therefore may be hand washed and ironed.  They also include removable undies.  Mary Jane shoes and head bows are removable only in the Me & My Manolita Collection.  Divas Collection:  All clothing and accessories from this collection are designed not to be removed.  Undies are also hand stitched into place, therefore also not removable.

Doll Collections:  Me & My Manolita, Laces and Bows, Around The World, Once Upon a Time and Diamond measure 16” inches when standing.  Some models may vary in length due to head ornaments.  Divas dolls measure 27” inches in standing position.

Yes, all of our dolls not mattering which collection sit down. All our dolls come in standing position, however they are able to sit with their legs straight when in sitting down position.

Variations in skin tones: medium and dark is obtained by naturally dyeing the light colored cotton cloth fabric.

Each and every Manolita doll is handmade so there are slight variations and each one will be unique. Due to the unique handcrafted nature of our dolls, no two Manolitas will ever be exactly the same. Their imperfection is perfection.

Due to their handcrafted nature and small parts, Manolitas are recommended for decorative display purposes and gentle play.  Manolitas dolls are delicate and in no way, are considered to be a toy. Gentle play only is advised. Delicate decorative ornaments: (buttons, sequins, feathers, etc.) mean they are not suitable for children under the age of 3.

All our products are made to order; however, for some items we do keep some inventory at hand which can speed up the dispatch of your order. 

Restocking will depend if we are able to source the same fabric on any given style in order to make additional pieces.  There is a high probability that some styles might not be restocked given that certain styles have fabrics that are limited.

Please note that different screens and monitors may show colors slightly differently.

Keep your dolls clothes and hair dust free with a damp clean cloth.  Do not submerge your doll in water.  Important:  Medium and dark skin colored dolls must avoid any contact with water, as their skin tone may be subject to discoloration due to natural dyeing process.  In order to help minimize stains simply use a clean dry toothbrush to surface brush clean only.

To clean your light skin colored doll, first use a clean dry toothbrush to brush away dust particles and gentle transparent liquid hand soap, lukewarm water and a napped clean cloth to gentle spot clean surface stain.  Allow air to dry away from direct heat.  Machine washing and drying are not recommended.

As many of our pieces are unique and have very intricate handmade details, we recommend washing your garments in cold water, on a gentle cycle and lay flat to dry. Dry cleaning is also an option due to the delicate nature of the threads.

Because all of our pieces are completely handcrafted and made to order, we do not offer exchanges or refunds. Note that we do not accept returns on international orders. Manolitas takes full responsibility (limited to the purchase amount and respective shipping costs) for items which are either dispatched damaged, faulty or stained or have been subject to a delivery mistake attributed to Manolitas.
